Our Annual Appeal Letter is our largest fund raiser.  Each year we mail letters to hundreds of people in the Newark area asking for donations.  We include a self - addressed stamped envelope with the letter.  If you would like to be added to our list of donors and receive an Annual Appeal Letter go to our "Contact Us" page and complete the requested information.  Any of our volunteers will gladly accept cash or check donations or mail your check to The Newark Area Welfare Committee, Inc., PO Box 951, Newark, DE 19715.

Other major fundraisers include: the Holiday Food Program. Newark New Century Club, New Castle County Council and City of Newark provide grants. The Newark Charitable and Social Club, Wilmington Flower Market, The Christmas Shop Foundation, First Presbyterian Church of Newark, Acme Suburban Plaza, and Head of Christiana Presbyterian Church supported NAWC with generous grants from their annual fund raisers.  Countless individuals, churches, businesses and other organizations have helped all year.  To see a complete list of the organizations that lend NAWC a hand go to our Partners page.
