With much community support, we distributed almost 500 parcels including food, personal care products, grocery store gift cards, cold-weather clothing accessories and goodies for children, reaching families throughout the Newark area. After final cleanup at First Presbyterian Church, we filled the NAWC Food Cupboard, Val’s food storage area, and transported seven pallets of food to the Sunday Breakfast Mission. After two years without an in-person event, we reconnected with so many in the community, volunteers and families in need of our support. A lot of joy in this Christmas season indeed!
